CODE OF CONDUCT

If your young person is injured please email hello@stagedooracademybayside.com.au so we may adapt your child’s learning. It is always beneficial to watch and learn if unable to dance.

Please respect the decisions of the Director concerning the suitability of your young person for specific classes, exams or positions in troupe/solo performance

We have a ZERO tolerance policy regarding bullying or harassment of other parents, staff, teachers or students
-
Choreography is not to be shared on social media without the permission of the Director.

Solo choreography and costume design remain the intellectual property of the school and may only be used to represent Stage Door Academy.

If you have an issue to discuss with the teacher or Director, please arrange a suitable time by emailing stagedooracademy1@gmail.com.
Discussion before/after class is not suitable as it interrupts the learning of others.

CLASSES​

The last week of each term is ‘Parent watching week where parents are welcome to watch the term’s work in all classes
-
Please advise of student absence via hello@stagedooracademybayside.com.au, particularly with regard to private lessons.

Students may not enter any enter eisteddfods, competitions or classes without the permission of the Stage Door Academy Director
-
Students who enrol in troupe classes must also enrol in the ballet, tap and jazz class associated with their age group
-
Students may not compete in any solo competitions that mean they will miss a troupe class.
